Mandy GauldinMandy has more than 30 years of marketing communications experience. Since her first writing assignment — advertising copy for Mervyn’s Department Stores — she has written for and about the tourism, financial services, retail, motorcycle, entertainment, pet, building materials, security, healthcare and winter sports industries.

As a vice president for Fleishman-Hillard, one of the world’s largest communications firms, Mandy served as a communications counselor and strategist for clients including AMC Entertainment, Hallmark Cards, The Iams Company, Ford Motor Credit, Levenger, The Principal Financial Group, and Wellmark International. She helped these clients meet a variety of business goals ranging from increased awareness and market share to changed perceptions and launches. Programs that she handled have been honored with a Silver Anvil, the communications industry’s version of an Oscar, as well as two Prisms and a Silver Prism from the Public Relations Society of America/Kansas City Chapter.

Since founding Peak Communications LLC in 2005, Mandy has continued to provide her clients with exceptional marketing communications counsel and support, ranging from media relations and strategic planning to copywriting and social media outreach. Her clients have included Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park; Leadville and Lake County, Colo.; Chester’s Harley-Davidson; WestStar Bank; Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association; Aspen Valley Harley-Davidson; Sunlight Mountain Resort; and Grandma K’s Applesauce.

Recent accomplishments include placements on Good Morning America, the Travel Channel’s Bert the Conqueror, USA Today, NationalGeographic.com, The Denver Post, The Gazette, and KUSA 9 News. Mandy was a presenter at the 2011 Colorado Tourism Conference, providing insight on using social media to create big results with small budgets.

Mandy and her husband are full-time RVers and empty nesters.
